What are our default nameservers?

Nameservers tell the internet which company manages the DNS for your domain. To connect a domain to your Managed Web hosting, set it to use our nameservers:

  • ns0.thundercloud.uk
  • ns1.thundercloud.uk

Where to set them

  • Domains registered with Managed Web: these are normally set for you. You can check or change them in your client portal (see How to change nameservers for your domain).
  • Domains registered elsewhere: log in to your current registrar's control panel and replace their nameservers with the two above.

Always enter both nameservers so your domain keeps working if one is unavailable.

After changing nameservers

Allow up to 24–48 hours for the change to propagate. Once it has, your domain's DNS is managed from cPanel's Zone Editor, where you can add or edit records.
